Back to School Night

The staff of Cascade Heights invites you to our 10th annual Back to School Night on Thursday, September 10th, 2015. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open our new, fully operational library! The ceremony will be followed by a short welcome and introductions in the gym at 6:30. After this is where things get weird. Instead of our usual two sessions with teachers talking too fast trying to cram everything you might need to know into your head, we will be trying something new. Parents with students in Kindergarten through 4th grade will remain in the gym while parents with students in 5th - 8th grade will move to the cafeteria. If you have students in both primary and upper grades, please go to the cafeteria. In each of these rooms teachers will spend about 20 minutes sharing ideas for ways to make the most of our partnership while focusing on the goals you have for your student this year. After the group sessions, all classrooms will be open to allow parents to get to know each other and the classroom teacher, as well as pick up syllabi and sign up for conferences and volunteering opportunities. In order to make the most of our short time together, we ask that students not attend this event.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
